New Basilica of Guadalupe

In the country most fervently devoted to the Virgin of Guadalupe, we built a space for faith in which any person, regardless of race or condition, may be himself or herself, because in God's eyes we are all equal. The Basilica of Guadalupe can hold 10,000 people. To build it, 60,000 m3 of concrete were poured, along with 7,000 tons of reinforced steel and 180,000 m2 of formwork. The building extends over an area of 10,000 m2.
