Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta Hydroelectric Power Plant

This plant, like others, is intended to store up water and use it as energy to supply the Sinaloa region. Its construction benefits all Mexicans living in that city, giving them access to quality services.

The power plant is located in the state of Sinaloa, along the Rio Fuerte river, and is part of that rivers' hydro-agricultural and energy system. The construction includes a 4.57 billion m3 storage dam and hydroelectric power plant with 422 MW (megawatts) of installed capacity.
