Jorge Delgado Ramírez

Jorge A. Delgado Ramírez is a Civil Engineer who graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa. He has supplemented his degree with training in specialization courses in areas such as Project Management and Business Management. He has more than 37 years of experience working with ICA in various positions within civil construction and infrastructure. Past positions include Director of the Division of Heavy Construction, Deputy Director of Construction Projects, Managing Director of Operation and Maintenance of Highways under Concesion. He has participated in many large-scale projects such as the construction of the cable-stayed bridge Coatzacoalcos II, the construction of the Motorway Guadalajara-Tepic section "Plan de Barrancas", the newly opened Highway Nuevo Necaxa-Avila Camacho, construction of the bridge over the sea "El Zacatal" in Ciudad del Carmen. He has contributed to the construction of important hydraulic works such as the "Presa Trigomil" in El Estado de Jalisco, and the "Atirantado el Zapote" of the Cuernavaca-Acapulco Highway Bridge construction. In June 2015 he was named Vice President of Civil Construction of ICA with resposibility of ports, wáter and mining projects, as well as road and conservation projects.
